Love Bonito CNY Review

This post will mark my first #lovebonito reviews over here on WordPress! Consolidating all last week reviews for you ladies! 😊 sorry for the late reviews. Had wanted to review over at Dayre on Friday but with the news of Dayre shutting down, the review got aborted 😔

Okay, it’s review time now!

Tylgan Jacquard Ruffle Sleeve Crop Top

Took size XS to try initially to see the fit! Size XS fits me Super snugly with zero allowance at the ptp and waist. I had some difficulty zipping down in fact. Had to try twice and breathe in to zip 😅 the top is lined. Jacquard material not stretchy at all. Comes with back zip that zip down instead of zip upwards. Prints placement differs for every pieces. For this piece, the prints quite good minus the fact that the Cupid prints not really visible though!

Since XS is snug, I went on to try size S too. Above is Size S and it fits me with slight allowance at both ptp and waist. Which is much more comfy than Xs! You can see this piece has Cupid prints! So cute and apt for coming V day actually hehe! I decided to bag this home from the store!

Nedya Contrast Floral Midi Dress

Wearing size XS for this dress and it fits me well at both ptp and waist with almost no allowance. Hips has allowance. Dress is lined. Only very slightly stretchy. Comes with back zip. No pockets. The top part material is a bit textured and the colour is slightly faded in real life? Quite love the prints because it’s very CNY-ish. Would have gotten it if it’s more fitted at the hips for me.

Iidren Lace Pleat Cheongsam

Wearing xs for the dress and it fits me perfectly at ptp and waist. No allowance. Material is quite thick, structured and not stretchy at all. Hips has slight allowance on me. Dress is lined. Comes with back zip and also stud button fastening in front. The cheongsam design is pretty unique. Something different from usual. Personally quite love this! But I resisted hehe! So nice, don’t you think so?

Angeria Printed Sash Shirt Dress

Wearing size S here because I couldn’t find any xs on the rack and too lazy to ask the piece for xs either. Dress is not lined. Material is lightweight polyester. Comes with front buttons and self tie attached sash. Actually I have no idea how to tie the sash and I couldn’t find this item on website when I was trying it on 😆 so I anyhow wear the dress. Can’t seem to carry off the prints and the sleeves though!

Inscha Asymmetrical Ruffled Midi Jumpsuit

Wearing xs for the Jumpsuit and it fits me well at ptp and waist. The measurements on site seems to run smaller but material is stretchy so you can take usual size! Jumpsuit is half lined. Comes with back zip. No pockets. Material is soft polyester. I almost wanted to bag this home but also resisted because cannot buy too many 🤣

Jeaskli Slit Tulip Jumpsuit

Wearing xs for the Jumpsuit and it fits me snugly at ptp and waist with zero allowance. Hips has allowance. Jumpsuit is lined. Comes with back zip. Not stretchy. Material is lightweight polyester which is of different material from the previously launched playsuit! The playsuit version has thicker and more structured material which I personally prefer. Length wise is a bit Long for me. It just skim the floor with my usual heels.

Abelna Jacquard Skater Dress

Wearing xs for the dress and it fits me well Ptp and waist with zero allowance. Dress is lined. Comes with back zip and pockets! Material is structured so the bottom skirt part is a bit pong. The dress is nicer in real life imo. I quite like this but again resisted ☺️ so many nice ones but need to control 😝 personally prefer this colour combi than the other one though!

Uliana Layered Midi Dress

Wearing xs for this dress and it fits me comfy at both ptp and waist. Dress is lined. Comes with back zip. No pockets. Only very slightly stretchy. Hips has allowance on me. I love the cut of the dress but the ruffle cape seems to be very overwhelming on petite me lol! I think it would probably look better on me if the ruffle cape is shorter? Can’t carry off this dress for sure hehee!

Olgea Layered Ruffle Dress

Wearing xs for the black one and it fits me snugly at ptp and just nice at waist and hips! Dress is lined and comes with back zip. Material is quality polyester. Not stretchy. For the xs, can see a bit of pits fats on me 😆 but. I love the fit at the waist and hips! The Black is so classy me love!

Also managed to try the lime variant in size S to see the fit! Size S fits me comfy at ptp but it was too loose at the waist and hips though! The difference between xs and S seems to be quite significant on me. I have gotten this lime one online in xs but haven’t receive yet though! FYI the colour is lime in real life. Not mustard.

Oleanda Crochet Lace Peplum Dress

Wearing xs for the dress and it fits me snugly at ptp and waist with zero allowance. Hips has allowance. Dress is lined. Comes with back exposed silver zip and high neckline. Not stretchy. I think this dress somehow doesn’t suit me? Maybe because the hips are not fitted on me.

Oleanda Crochet Lace Peplum Top

Wearing xs for the top version and it’s more snug at ptp as compared to the dress version which is why I didn’t fully zip up the back 🙊 the waist has zero allowance as well. TOP is lined. Personally prefer the top as compared to dress version. But I think I’m in between size for this. Top comes with open ended back exposed zip by the way.

Tahitia Tweed High Waist Skirt

Wearing xs for the skirt and it fits me well at waist with no allowance. Hips has slight allowance. Skirt is lined. Not stretchy and comes with back zip. Quite love the fit of the skirt! Shall probably KIV this piece. Would have gotten it if it is more fitting at the hips for me hehe!

Pasada Jacquard Playsuit

Wearing xs for the playsuit and it fits me well at ptp and waist. No allowance. Playsuit is lined, not stretchy. Comes with back zip and pockets! Personally love the fit and cut! But not so much of a fan of the prints though. Jacquard material is structured.

Laurien Lace Overlay Midi Dress

 

Wearing XS for the dress and it fits me snugly at ptp and just nice at the waist. No allowance. Hips has allowance. Dress is lined and comes with back zip. Straps are adjustable and the bust area is padded. No pockets. The crochet is not the delicate one but quite sturdy.

Also managed to try the mustard one in same xs size

Both Colours side by side. Personally prefer the baby blue over mustard anytime.

Jyoline Jacquard Bustier Peplum Jumpsuit

 

Wearing XS for the Jumpsuit and it fits me well at ptp and waist with no allowance. There’s some pit fats showing for me actually. Hips has allowance on me. Jumpsuit half lined. Comes with back zip and anti slip at the bust area. No pockets. Length wise is good with usual heels. Not stretchy at all at the bust area. I think I still prefer the bandeau Jumpsuit launched previously.

Wrylene Asymmetrical Cascade Layer Dress

Wearing XS for the dress and it fits me snugly at ptp and waist with zero allowance. Dress is lined and comes with back zip. Not stretchy at all. Love the basic and classy design actually and I seem to find the design quite familiar? Not sure if it has been launched before. I think this dress will have good mileage as it’s suitable for work and weekend as well. Resisted hard again for this dress! 😆

Crelda Crochet Midi Jumpsuit

 

Tried Size Xs for the Jumpsuit and it fits me well at ptp with no allowance. Waist has slight allowance. Jumpsuit is lined. Not stretchy. Crochet is not the thin type but quality crochet. No pockets and comes with back zip. Hips has allowance on me. As usual cannot seem to carry off the sleeves part. This sienna colour seems to be quite unique though! Something like burnt orange.

Aurience Floral Origami Peplum Top

 

Wearing XS for the top and it fits me well at ptp and waist nicely! I had initially thought the material is jacquard from the preview but turned out not. The top material is neoprene instead. So it’s quite stretchy. Top is lined. The only downside is that the fastening are all the buttons in front 😅 and the buttons are Chinese style so need time to button and unbutton. I didn’t bother to button all here cos don’t wanna hog the fitting room for too long trying to button and unbutton 😆 I would actually buy it if the top comes with zip and aesthetic buttons.

This is the other Colour option for the top. I personally prefer the red one.

Sarita Ruffle Hem Lace Tulip Skirt

 

Wearing the skirt in xs and it fits me well at waist with no allowance. Hips are too loose on me though. Skirt comes with back zip and not lined. The lace material is more of stiff side. Not stretchy. The bottom hems are flared out to the sides.

Here I tucked in the top so you can see the skirt waistline better. I would have bought this if the hips are more fitted and if they have other Colour options. Personally not a fan of both Colours.

Travyne Trumpet Tweed Midi Dress

 

Tried Size xs for the red piece above and it fits me well at the ptp and waist with no allowance. Hips has slight allowance. Dress is lined. Not stretchy. Comes with back zip. The tweed is of good quality. LB has been launching really nice tweed stuffs! Had to resist them but finally succumbed to this dress. Love the cut and design and I would like good mileage as well.

I tried the yellow one too and this particular piece seems to be a bit more loose at the hips even though it’s of size xs as well.

And then I decided to try size xxs. The hips fits perfectly with zero allowance but I couldn’t zip up past my waist 🤣

Comparing both Colours side by side. In my opinion, the yellow one is nicer in real life.

Ronyke Lace Peplum Top

 

Took size xs to try and Guess what? Xs is too small for me. I cannot zip up past the waist again 🙊 this TOP is lined. Not stretchy. Comes with back zip. But the waistline is pretty high. More of babydoll cut. I didn’t manage to try size S though so not sure if need to size up or not. Personally not a fan of babydollcut though!

Mearyn Ruched Cheongsam Midi Dress

Tried Size XS for the dress and it fits me well at ptp and waist with zero allowance. The ptp is quite snug on me . I had a bit of difficulty zipping up the back which is why I didn’t zip up fully. Dress is lined. Not stretchy. Love the polyester material used for this Cheongsam range. Smooth and not the thin type. Hips has slight allowance on me. But as you can see, the shoulder area quite restrictive on me though. Although it’s Cheongsam style, I think can be worn again after CNY for navy piece.

Mearyn Ruched Cheongsam Midi Jumpsuit

 

Also managed to try on the Jumpsuit version and the fit is more or less same as the dress. Fits me snugly at ptp and no allowance at waist. Jumpsuit is lined. Comes with pockets! Somehow this piece and the dress looks really good when worn but I prefer the dress over Jumpsuit anytime.

If you find the red too bright, you can opt for this steel blue! Looks really nice too! If only it has half inch allowance on me.

Belva Lace Midi Bodycon Dress

Wearing xs for the dress and it fits me well at ptp and waist with no allowance. Hips has slight allowance. As the name suggests, the dress is meant to be bodycon fitted style. Dress is lined. Not stretchy. Comes with back zip. The crochet used is sturdy as well. Not the thin delicate type.

Tried the blue variant as well in same size. Personally prefer this colour over the earlier colour even thought the contrast is not obvious. Love the cut and design of the dress! Thinking if I should bag this Home but shall KIV. Really buy too many already ☺️

Orinda Open Front Blazer

 

Tried xs for the blazer and it fits me well at ptp. As the name suggests, there are no button or any fastening. It’s open front. Blazer is lined but it’s more to lightweight one. I personally like the red one a lot! But I wish it’s thicker so that it can keep me warm in my freezing office. Had to givethis a miss 😔
